Dr. Jayashree Dasgupta is a Co-Founder and Project Director at Samvedna Senior Care. A clinical psychologist by training with a specialization in neuropsychology, Dr Dasgupta holds an MPhil and PhD from the National Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences (NIMHANS), Bangalore. She has over 15 years of clinical and research experience. She has worked with both adults and children and presented her work at several national and international forums as well as published in international peer reviewed journals. She is interested in public health and passionate about developing services to bridge detection and treatment gaps for mental health conditions so that individuals can benefit from evidence based interventions. With the Public Health Foundation of India and Sangath, she has led several international projects which have developed tablet based assessment tools for detection of childhood neurodevelopmental disorders, and looked at strengthening mental health systems for maternal depression.
