Dementia is an illness which has no cure at present.
We conduct online Dementia Support group meetings every month for caregivers. From time to time, We also host these meetings at our centre in Gurugram. The meetings are chaired by our experts in Neurology, Psychiatry, and Psychology, among others. A typical support group meeting includes a discussion on challenging behaviours faced by the caregivers, tips for care management, and the latest dementia research.
The session is interactive, and participants are encouraged to ask questions from the group and our experts in a non-judgemental and caring environment. The support group aims to empower caregivers in taking care of their loved ones while managing their own lives.
Our support groups are for members only with a nominal yearly fee. Typically a support group includes 15-20 members to ensure that all queries get addressed satisfactorily. Participants will also be given an opportunity to be Samvedna ambassadors and free access to our care management handbook and other educational material.
